Job Description:
Agronomists have varied duties that require them to think critically to solve problems. First and foremost, agronomists experiment and plan studies to improve crop yields. They study a farm's crop production in order to discern the best ways to plant, harvest, and cultivate the plants, regardless of the climate. It is also important for agronomists to develop methods to control weeds and pests to keep crops disease-free.
Agronomists often use mathematical and analytical skills in conducting their work and experimentation. Complex data and information that they develop must be worked into a serviceable format for public consumption. Agronomists relay their information in written form, making presentations and speeches as well as responding diplomatically to sensitive issues regarding their findings. Their ultimate goal is to work scientifically to produce the finest crops, on the most consistent basis that they can, in any situation.
Sales Intern will contribute to bringing innovative products to our customers. Build interpersonal and communication skills while working closely with sales, research and customers. Enhance and develop your skills through practical and meaningful experience while collecting data and information related to field trials. Gain experience in independently managing your time and priorities, and make decisions to meet your goals. Collect and record data from field strip trials and large farm studies. Observe and document field management practices. Attend and assist with educational meetings. Assist with other ongoing agronomy training activities. Safe operation of Pioneer vehicle while traveling extensively.

• Agronomy Graduate
• Must be able to work independently
• Should have atleast 4-5 years of experience
• Skilled in computer use (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
• Superior work ethic and highly motivated
• Leadership and interpersonal skills/experience desired
• Problem solver. Should be good team player.
